REACH OUT AND RUN. DIVE. CLIMB. FLY…

Day 2 at Castle Hill

April 8, 2012 by Jeramie

We got up and finally moving to the climbing area at the crack of noon, narrowly escaping the DOC ranger on his way to check for squatters. We had a nice calm day of climbing on the Submarine Boulder (really does resemble the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine) on a handful of climbs they had been pointed to, and a range of others we made up throughout the day. Most of the stuff we climbed was either unknown to us, or the grade seemed a bit off to me personally, so who knows what we climbed. But as always, who cares? As if life was set to repeat…we repeated the previous day. Climb, rest, climb, sunset, leave, cook, wine, whiskey, sleep.
